Deer Accident

 On October 26, 2020, at approximately 8:35 p.m., the Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to a deer-vehicle accident on Highway 20 near mile marker 283. Terry Burds, of Peosta, IA was eastbound on Highway 20 when he struck a deer that had entered the roadway.

November 9th 2020 On October 31, 2020, at approximately 13:07 Manchester Police were called to 1220 West Main Street in Manchester, Iowa. The complainant advised the officer she was at Walmart when she approached a person whom she knew. The person’s husband approached the victim and displayed a firearm and made a threatening statement. An investigation of the complaint supported the complainant’s statements. Arrested  Ryan Francis Leppert (age 31) of Manchester Charges Assault While Displaying a Weapon an Aggravated Misdemeanor Harassment 1st Degree an Aggravated Misdemeanor All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
