The other 9.3 percent still need to be reminded that seat belts save lives.  • Unbelted rear passengers are 2.7 times more likely to be killed than belted rear passengers. • Men make up the majority of those killed in motor vehicle traffic crashes. In 2018, 65 percent of the 22,697 passenger vehicle occupants who were killed were men. Men also wear their seat belts at a lower rate than women do—52 percent of men killed in crashes were unrestrained, compared to 39 percent

November 9th 2020 On October 31, 2020, at approximately 13:07 Manchester Police were called to 1220 West Main Street in Manchester, Iowa. The complainant advised the officer she was at Walmart when she approached a person whom she knew. The person’s husband approached the victim and displayed a firearm and made a threatening statement. An investigation of the complaint supported the complainant’s statements. Arrested  Ryan Francis Leppert (age 31) of Manchester Charges Assault While Displaying a Weapon an Aggravated Misdemeanor Harassment 1st Degree an Aggravated Misdemeanor All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Mathew E Farrel of Earlville faces charges of first-degree harassment.  In September Farrel is accused of photo Shopping pictures from a man's Facebook account and turning them into pornographic pictures, sending them to his friends. Farrell faces two years in prison and an $8540.00 fine.
